| You'll figure the rest out, but here's what you need to know about actually making the hoses easier to make (I now prefer regular AN stuff to press-lok because I know how to do it easily) Buy the loping shear looking hose cutters (I think I got mine from Summit for $35). They are good up to AN-10. I used to do zizz wheel/hacksaw cuts and it was ugly. The shears just cut right through and don't make a frayed shielded, melted rubber mess (you still need to use tape). You can cut hoses on the car if you have to. Makes things very simple and makes the next step of putting the threaded collar on easy because it will cone the end of the hose slightly. Buy the Russell thread lube & hose lube. You'll want both to make putting the hoses together that much easier. The fitting will go into the hose and the threaded collar w/o much fuss. Buy the soft AN vice jaws to hold everything still. Put a same size fitting in the opposite set of grooves to what you're working on to allow you to offset the hose past the vice body. You'll get it when you try to set it up the first time. There are Koul Tools out there for each size. I don't see a need for them if you use the stuff I've listed, particularly the shears. I used to be interested in them, not anymore. There's a great PDF on AN hose making out there from Aeroquip I believe... maybe Easton. It talks about strain relief, routing, torquing, and a proc for actually making hoses. I have it clear sleaved in my Z32 assembly/torques book for reference.
